Volunteers Needed

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to work with our Playworker to support Stay and Play sessions, after-school family sessions, and family school holiday activities at All Saints and WelCare for our new joint playscheme project.  Sessions will shortly begin operating from All Saints on Mondays and Thursdays and from Welcare on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and we need volunteers to assist the playworker by welcoming families at the door, engaging with parents and helping with the children when needed.   For further details, please visit the Welcare Website here.  If interested, please discuss with Joe or Sarah, and apply by clicking here or contact Kate Shrimpton, our Communications Manager [email protected] or Sue Skrobowski at WelCare [email protected]

E-Bulletin

We are now sending out an e-bulletin every fortnight to those on our email database.  Please check if you are receiving this and if not (and you would like to be added), please email [email protected]

Planned Giving Appeal

We are hugely grateful for those who support us through regular Planned Giving. We would not have survived the COVID pandemic without your continued generosity.  We now need to increase our income from Planned Giving by at least £20,000 if we are to be able to face the future confident that we will have the resources to expand our mission and maintain All Saints’ position at the heart of Kingston life. Please read this short brochure on our finances and how you can play your part [Planned Giving 2023]. Please use this form to either make a new pledge or increase an existing pledge [Planned Giving Pledge Form].

Seven Saxon Kings

We launched an exciting embroidery project in 2022; to find out more information about the project, book of names and how you and your family can be part of keeping this heritage alive for generations to come click here.

Saxon Kings Update – Edward the Elder, first in the series, is now in production in embroiderer Jacky’s Bath studio. We need to raise the money for framing him – could you help by hosting a coffee morning for your friends and neighbours?  Either at home, or by arrangement in the Church café, and Leo or Sandy could bring along the embroidered samples for viewing. Contact Sandy at [email protected]

All Saints is the historic parish church of Kingston, whose bounds stretched at one time from Richmond to Molesey.

It is a place of significant heritage. The first King of England – Athelstan in 925AD – was crowned here making this, arguably, the place where England began.

The church has been at the centre of Kingston life for centuries and serving the community in a variety of different ways is a top priority for us.

We have a liberal outlook and intend that our services are inclusive and graceful, without being unduly formal. Music plays an important part in our life, supporting our worship and helping us to pray.

You are very welcome to join us or make a visit.
